Bengaluru traffic crisis: Parking eats up 60% of road space, minister pitches for dedicated enforcement agency

Sixty percent of Bengaluru's road space is occupied by parked vehicles, worsening traffic congestion. Minister Krishna Byre Gowda called for a dedicated agency to regulate and enforce parking rules. He stressed that building more roads alone would not resolve the city's traffic crisis. Better use of existing road space and disciplined parking are essential for commuters. Stricter enforcement of laws is unavoidable to address chronic civic problems.
