Bhojpuri actor held for running sex racket in Thane, 2 women rescued
A Bhojpuri actor was apprehended by the Thane Crime Branch’s Anti-Human Trafficking Cell during a raid. This operation targeted her alleged involvement in a sex racket in the city. Two women who were being coerced into prostitution were also rescued. Police acted on specific intelligence received prior to the operation in Padwal Nagar. An FIR has been filed under BNS sections and the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.
