'Biggest ever drug haul': Indian Coast Guard seizes 6,000 kg of drugs in Andaman
The Indian Coast Guard intercepted a fishing boat in the Bay of Bengal near the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, seizing approximately 6,000 kg of methamphetamine. Six Myanmar nationals were arrested. Officials believe the drugs, packaged in 3,000 two-kg packets, were destined for India and neighboring countries. This represents the largest drug bust in the Coast Guard's history.
