Bitten by snake in kitchen, Vasai woman dies after being shifted to 3 hospitals
Shaila alias Charlette Gonsalves, a 51-year-old woman from Agashi, died following a snake bite at her home. She was bitten in her kitchen early Tuesday morning and was taken for treatment. After receiving initial care, her condition worsened, necessitating transfers between hospitals. Gonsalves ultimately succumbed to her injuries while hospitalized in Virar. She worked at Seabird Medical Centre in Andheri, assisting with medical insurance arrangements.
