BJP names 8 Rajya Sabha candidates in UP, drops Hardeep Puri and BL Verma
BJP has nominated eight candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections scheduled for October 16. Among them are state leaders and existing ministers, which indicates a strategic move. The nominations include a mixture of OBC, Dalit, and Brahmin candidates to counter the Samajwadi Party's approach. Both parties have announced their candidates, hinting at possible contested elections. The BJP's decisions may influence their performance in the future Lok Sabha elections.
