BMC cuts, prunes trees near airport for aircraft safety
Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has cleared trees near Biju Patnaik International Airport to ensure aircraft safety during landings and takeoffs. Obstructions identified at multiple locations, including near Nilakantha Temple and Watco office, were either trimmed or removed. This action addresses long-standing concerns raised by the airport, which had previously delayed crucial safety system upgrades due to these hazards.
