BMC plans AI monitoring by 3k sensors to curb pollution
BMC aims to implement road washing using non-potable water from various sources to reduce air pollution. The initiative involves utilizing tanker-supplied water, which is effective for about 150 days per year. Officials will also monitor air quality using data from approximately 3,000 sensors across construction sites. This approach will help identify pollution hotspots and coordinate timely corrective actions.
