BMC removes over 7,000 banners and posters citywide after code of conduct enforcement
Within 48 hours of the Model Code of Conduct being enforced on October 15, the BMC removed 7,389 illicit banners, posters, and flags across Mumbai. The civic body has deployed additional manpower to curb unauthorized promotional materials during the festive period. Citizens can report violations via the CVIGIL app or voter helpline number 1950.
