BMC to crack down on 39,111 unauthorised slum structures in Mumbai from October 1
The BMC will launch a three-month special drive from October 1 against unauthorised constructions in slum areas, targeting 39,111 structures measuring 14ft or more in height. The civic body has urged residents to voluntarily remove unauthorised portions before enforcement teams begin demolition action.
