Buyer wins sofa refund of Rs 88,000 when Bengaluru consumer court raps store initially bought for Rs. 83,000
A Bengaluru resident faced an unexpected issue when his custom sofa set arrived significantly larger than requested. The consumer commission sided with him after he voiced his concerns. The store argued that he agreed to alterations, but the commission determined that the company failed to effectively address his issues. As a result, they mandated a refund of Rs 83,000 along with compensation for legal fees.
