Cabbie threatens undercover police outside Mumbai airport, arrested for extortion over inflated fare

Mumbai police apprehended a 49-year-old taxi driver for allegedly threatening decoy officers and demanding an inflated fare from the airport to Borivli. The driver, Warisali Sayuddin Shaikh, was booked for extortion, his vehicle seized, and license suspended. This follows a recent crackdown on drivers fleecing passengers exiting the airport, with similar action taken against an auto-rickshaw driver just days prior.
