CAG report: Delhi govt univs operated without accreditation, faced severe faculty shortages
A CAG report revealed significant operational gaps in Delhi government universities. Several institutions functioned for years without mandatory NAAC/NBA accreditation, while facing acute faculty shortages of up to 60% and substantial infrastructure deficiencies, including a 59% seating deficit at DPSRU. The admission regulatory committee was also formed after a 16-year delay.
