CBI arrests DGCA deputy director, air training firm director in bribery case
Sushil Kumar Garg, serving as a deputy director at the DGCA, along with Sachin Keshav Bhane, the director of Ekvi Air Training Organisation, has been taken into custody. They stand accused of engaging in corruption by accepting a bribe for the improper certification of aircraft airworthiness. The CBI acted on leads regarding the bribery, with Garg allegedly receiving Rs 2.5 lakh in illicit funds. Investigative questioning is ongoing.
