CBSE to introduce on-screen marking for Class 12 from 2026: What it means for students
CBSE will introduce On-Screen Marking for Class 12 board exams from 2026, replacing manual evaluation with digital assessment of scanned answer sheets. The move aims to reduce totalling errors, speed up checking and improve transparency. While students will continue writing exams in pen-and-paper mode, Class 10 evaluation will remain offline for now.
