Challenge for Punjab as rectified black spots on roads turn dangerous again
Punjab faces challenges in reducing road accident fatalities as many previously addressed accident black spots have reemerged. Despite efforts to improve safety measures, a significant number of black spots persist, particularly on national highways. To address this, the state plans to engage a third-party agency to audit the effectiveness of past interventions and guide future road safety strategies.
