Chennai Corporation cancels eco-park plan in Perungudi Dumpyard amid opposition
Chennai Corporation scrapped its eco-park plan at Perungudi Dumpyard. Residents opposed the project in a meeting. The project site is a Ramsar site. The Corporation now plans a bio-CNG plant and composting facilities at the dumpyard. Another meeting will be held soon to discuss these new proposals.
