CM pat for Odisha vigilance
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi lauded the vigilance directorate's success in combating corruption, reporting 376 criminal cases against 640 employees and 369 arrests. The government is enhancing investigations with IT, banking, and finance consultants and plans to create new inspector and sub-inspector posts. Infrastructure upgrades, including new office buildings and a state-of-the-art vigilance academy, are also in progress.
