Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced significant welfare initiatives for Uttar Pradesh police personnel, including a 70% increase in uniform allowance, a 25% hike in housing allowance, and improvements in barrack facilities. Additionally, a Rs 1,380 crore fund was created for police housing, and recruitment processes for 60,000 new positions are underway.
