Congress that fought for independence and the one ruling Karnataka are different: BJP's Basavaraj Bommai
Former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai criticized the Congress party ahead of the centenary celebration of the 1924 Belagavi Congress Session. He compared the current Congress to the one that fought for independence, calling it anti-people and anti-national. Bommai also accused the party of mistreating B.R. Ambedkar and claimed that it is nearing collapse.
