Conman in Fortuner tricks elderly Bengaluru woman, drives away with gold bangles
An 80-year-old Bengaluru woman was conned out of two gold bangles by a man posing as an acquaintance. He arrived in a Toyota Fortuner, fabricated a wedding story, and tricked her into handing over her jewelry by claiming he wanted a similar design for his fiancée. The conman then fled with the bangles.
