Counterfeit parts case: Mercedes owner in Bengaluru wins Rs 2.6L refund; dealer pays Rs 10k for mental agony
A Bengaluru man has won a full refund after being sold counterfeit German Bilstein air shocks for his Mercedes ML 350. The consumer commission ordered the Kerala-based dealer to return Rs 2.6 lakh with interest and take back the fake parts. The dealer was also fined for mental agony and litigation costs.
