Cyber scam exposed: Delhi police arrest accused behind fake hotel booking website; victims defrauded via OTP, UPI
Delhi Police's Crime Branch has busted a cyber fraud racket, arresting a 26-year-old man who impersonated a popular hotel-booking platform. The accused defrauded a US-based victim of over Rs 57,000 by tricking them into sharing sensitive OTP and UPI details. The investigation revealed the defrauded amount was used to pay the accused's credit card bill.
