Daily wager dies after car drags him for 1.5km in Assam's Golaghat
A 55-year-old cyclist, Tutu Saikia, was tragically killed in a hit-and-run incident on NH-129 near Morangi, Golaghat district. A speeding car struck Saikia from behind, dragging him for approximately 1.5 km before fleeing the scene. The victim's body was discovered near his home, and police are investigating, using CCTV footage to identify the vehicle.
