Dakshina Kannada vendors stage protest, seek new vending zones
The Dakshina Kannada District Street Vendors Association held a protest in Mangaluru, urging the Mangaluru City Corporation to conduct a survey to identify all street vendors and form a new Town Vending Committee. They demanded vending zones based on scientific principles and the issuance of identity cards to vendors identified by July 2023.
