Delhi a ‘mandi’ for child trafficking: High court
Delhi's railway stations are a hub for child trafficking, the Delhi High Court stated. The court has asked the Indian Railways and Delhi Police for their stance on the rising incidents. Over 84,000 children were rescued by Railway Protection Force between 2018 and 2024. The court noted a lack of effective implementation of measures to curb trafficking.
