Delhi guest teachers' salary hike proposed: PGTs to get Rs 76,160 monthly under new structure
The Delhi Directorate of Education has proposed shifting guest teachers from daily payments to fixed monthly remuneration based on basic pay and dearness allowance at 60%. Under the proposal, PGTs, including EVGCs, would receive Rs 76,160 monthly, TGTs Rs 71,840 and PRTs Rs 56,640. The proposal also provides eight days of casual leave annually, specifies deductions for additional absences and outlines payments during summer and winter vacations for eligible guest teachers.
