Delhi rains: Swim before you take off from IGI
Heavy rain caused significant waterlogging at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday. A strong squall with high winds led to the diversion of eleven flights to other cities. Over five hundred fifty flights experienced delays throughout the entire day at the busy airport. Airport authorities stated that water accumulation occurred on approach roads and forecourt areas. Drainage system completion issues were cited as a contributing factor to the waterlogging.
