Deoria: New success story of Eastern UP
Deoria district, one of the most important districts in eastern Uttar Pradesh, has undergone a gradual but visible transformation. The most visible aspect of Deoria's transformation has been improved connectivity. For years, travel between Deoria and neighbouring urban centres such as Gorakhpur was slow because of narrow roads, congestion and railway-crossing delays.
