Discarded Nets Become Hoops: Giannis foundation, Enaleia upcycle gear; 80 Athens courts benefit
In a remarkable initiative, the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation and Enaleia have repurposed discarded fishing gear into vibrant basketball nets, enhancing public courts across Athens. This project not only replaces damaged nets but also tackles marine pollution by transforming waste into valuable resources for the community. Young athletes can engage with these recycled nets, fostering a sense of environmental awareness alongside their love for sports.
