On New Year's Eve, a young engineering student named Nivedan Kumar faced a terrifying ordeal near the Patna DM's residence. Ambushed by a gang of 15-20 masked assailants on motorcycles and in an SUV, he was violently attacked at gunpoint, suffering from severe head injuries after a ten-minute assault.
