Forgotten Victorian camera found in Oxfordshire loft sells for £18,000 for wildlife conservation
During a house clearance in Oxfordshire, a homeowner discovered a rare Victorian camera stored for nearly 30 years. The camera, made of mahogany and brass, was auctioned for £18,000 after receiving significant interest from collectors. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to wildlife conservation charities in memory of the seller's late father. The father was passionate about nature and photographed local wildlife during his lifetime.
