Four men trespass into Pondicherry Technological University, attempt to rape 1st-year student
Four men on two motorcycles trespassed into Pondicherry Technological University and attempted to rape a first-year student after assaulting her boyfriend. The attack was thwarted when the girl raised an alarm. The university filed a police complaint, but did not mention the sexual assault. The police have started an inquiry.
