From Sainik School to Rashtrapati Bhavan: Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal’s education and Army career journey
Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal, a former 4 Para Special Forces officer and former Aide-de-Camp to President Droupadi Murmu, has taken premature retirement from the Indian Army after roughly 12 years of service. His military journey included schooling at Sainik School Kapurthala, training at NDA and IMA, service with the Jat Regiment, and commanding its award-winning 2021 Republic Day contingent. He later served at Rashtrapati Bhavan, becoming a recognisable public figure through his presidential assignment.
