Gone with the wind: True Diwali picture of Delhi
On Diwali night, despite a firecracker ban in Delhi, PM2.5 levels spiked dramatically, reaching up to 1,853 micrograms per cubic metre in areas like Vivek Vihar, indicating hazardous pollution. However, 13 out of 24 air monitoring stations recorded lower PM2.5 levels this year compared to the previous Diwali.
