Govt appoints district planning panel chiefs
The Odisha government has appointed chairpersons for all 30 district planning committees. This long-pending task is now complete. Four ministers and several MLAs have been given these responsibilities. Jay Dholakia, a recent MLA, will head Nuapada's committee. Simarani Nayak is the sole woman among the appointees. These committees consolidate local plans for district development.
