Gujarat SGST inspector poses as I-T officer, suspended for fake tax raid
The Gujarat SGST department has suspended inspector Vipul Patel, who was arrested for impersonating an Income-Tax officer and orchestrating a fraudulent tax raid in Dahod. The department has also initiated a vigilance inquiry into Patel's activities. Patel was caught along with other suspects after extorting money from a local shop owner.
