Gujarat techie duped of Rs 6 lakh in digital arrest scam
A software engineer in Gandhinagar was cheated out of Rs 6 lakh in a digital arrest fraud. A fraudster impersonated a law enforcement officer and accused her of money laundering. He manipulated her into sharing banking details and taking a personal loan. She lost Rs 5.94 lakh before filing a complaint with the Cyber Police.
