HC upholds limited diversion of surplus grazing land for public use

Orissa High Court has validated the limited use of surplus grazing land for public projects, provided it's based on objective assessment and doesn't significantly impact villagers' rights. A case involving a statue installation in Jajpur district was upheld, as the diversion was deemed minimal and legally sound, with petitioners failing to engage in administrative proceedings.
