'He was a disobedient student': Man kills 14-year-old son in Bengaluru
A 40-year-old Bengaluru carpenter, Ravi Kumar, was arrested for allegedly beating his younger son, R Tejas, to death. Kumar was reportedly enraged by Tejas's poor academic performance and demand to repair a mobile phone. Kumar's attempt to conceal the crime by claiming sudden illness was thwarted when his wife, Shashikala, alerted neighbors and police.
