'He was in favour of genocide': Protesters call for Bangladesh president's removal over remarks on Hasina
There are growing calls for President Mohammed Shahabuddin's resignation in Bangladesh following his controversial remarks on deposed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Protests led by the Anti-discrimination Student Movement and other groups demand Shahabuddin step down and the dissolution of Hasina's Awami League party. Shahabuddin claims he has no documentary proof of Hasina's resignation.
