Heavy rains & gusty winds lash Hyderabad, IMD issues yellow alert in Telangana
After a week-long dry spell, Hyderabad faced heavy rains and thunderstorms, resulting in waterlogged streets and traffic disruptions. Ganaaka Bhavan in Khairatabad recorded the highest rainfall at 79 mm. The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the state, forecasting more thunderstorms and gusty winds over the next five days.
