Akshaye Khanna's private life is under scrutiny following 'Dhurandhar'. His mother, Geetanjali Taleyarkhan, a model from a prominent Parsi family, married Vinod Khanna in 1971. After Vinod's spiritual renunciation and departure to Osho's ashram, Geetanjali raised Rahul and Akshaye as a single parent, eventually divorcing Vinod in 1985. She passed away in 2018.
