I&B ministry's internal financial advisor held for accepting Rs 10 lakh bribe through wife
The CBI has taken a deputy controller of accounts into custody for allegations of bribery. He asked a businessman for fifteen lakh rupees for a renewal file but later negotiated down to ten lakh rupees. The officer was apprehended while his wife accepted the bribe on his behalf. The case is now under further scrutiny as investigations continue.
