ICC prosecutor seeks arrest warrant for Myanmar's military leader over crimes against Rohingya Muslim minority
The International Criminal Court (ICC) seeks an arrest warrant for Myanmar's military chief, Min Aung Hlaing, over atrocities against the Rohingya Muslim minority. Hlaing, who orchestrated the 2021 coup, faces accusations of crimes against humanity, including deportation and persecution. Nearly a million Rohingya fled to Bangladesh amidst a brutal campaign of ethnic cleansing.
