Alan Watson Featherstone pledged to restore Scotland's ancient Caledonian Forest in 1986. Decades of volunteer work and conservation efforts transformed this ambitious promise. Trees for Life planted one million native trees, marking a significant restoration milestone. The organization then launched a new mission to plant another million trees. This extensive restoration effort aims to rebuild a resilient native ecosystem in Scotland.
