Akshay Oberoi and his family have been steadily shaping their Karjat home into a personal retreat, visiting the property twice a month as the house comes together in what feels like poetic chapters, each visit adding a little more character to the space. The interiors are slowly being filled with pieces that reflect the family's everyday life rather than staged decor. Shelves inside the home hold puzzles, books, Akshay's personal vinyl collection, and Lego sculptures he's built together with his son, Aviyaan — small, ongoing projects that have become part of the home's character. Looking ahead, the walls are also set to be dressed with artwork sourced from homegrown artists, adding a distinctly personal and locally rooted layer to the space.
