International students in Canada must obtain a new study permit to change schools under these conditions
Canada has introduced new rules for international students effective November 8, 2024. Students must now apply for a new study permit before changing designated learning institutions (DLIs). Failing to inform authorities may invalidate their permit. Additionally, the off-campus work limit has increased to 24 hours per week, allowing students to earn more while studying.
