IPL star Abhishek Porel arrested: What we know about rape case against Delhi Capitals player
Hooghly district police arrested Delhi Capitals batter Abhishek Porel late Monday night. A woman accused the Bengal cricketer of rape after a promise of marriage. Police registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and IT Act. The complaint was filed by a medical student from Karnataka. Porel is expected to be produced before a court in Chinsurah.
