Jharkhand Teen Maoist Cadre Surrenders in Rourkela, Cites Disillusionment
A 15-year-old Maoist cadre from Jharkhand, disillusioned with extremist ideology and fearing for his life, surrendered to Rourkela police. Recruited at 12, he was involved in arms movement, explosives, and reconnaissance, participating in incidents like railway track sabotage and IED detonations in Odisha and Jharkhand. A .9mm carbine was recovered.
