'Just need to clear something up': Pietersen on why he didn't travel to Pakistan
Kevin Pietersen has clarified that he missed England's Pakistan tour because he works as a consultant, not a full-time employee. Addressing the issue on X, he said he would not accompany the team on every assignment. Appointed as England's white-ball mentor earlier this year, his stint is set to continue until the 2027 ODI World Cup.
